Gina Tarajano is a recording artist and songwriter with
a knack for hitting upon just the right balance of pop
and inspiration. Her roots are in Baton Rouge, Louisiana,
and that's where it all began. Her driving passion for
music and powerful voice, however, has taken her beyond
those hometown boundaries.
Gina combines a career of recording and performing,
while continuing to train internationally with Maestro
Delfo Menicucci, vocal instructor for Andrea Bocelli.
In the summer 2004, she performed several venues in
Tuscany, as well as, the Scuola Di Canto "Edi Bocelli"
Gala in Italy.
Gina's busy schedule does not keep her from sharing
her talents on philanthropic projects. She has traveled
the state as a featured artist with the Louisiana Music
Cavalcade. She was accompanied by New Orleans jazz pianist,
Ronnie Kole, while performing at the March of Dimes
Gala. One of her favorite projects was aimed at assisting
a local public school. Gina recorded a CD with a local
elementary school in conjunction with their Veteran's
Day Program. Profits from the CD sales were used to
finance the school's music program.
Early in 2006, Gina's career took a new twist, through
a predestined meeting with renowned artist, composer
and producer, Alejandro Jaen. Gina always felt that
her music was meant to be uplifting, but a rapid chain
of events led her to Jaen, and to a personal acknowledgement
of her true calling --- Christian Pop. Through the vision
of Alejandro Jaen, producer, Gina has recently recorded
a set of Christian tunes in both Spanish and English.
According to Gina, "I have had the opportunity
to work on other recordings, but I feel that this is
the most important work I've ever done because it glorifies
the Lord."
Gina is an approved artist on NMN.
